 KELOWNA SUMMERFEST 2024

 

By approving the Kelowna Summerfest “Terms & Conditions”, the participant(s) / attendee(s) agrees in full and without dispute, the following:

 

1. The participant(s) / attendee(s) willingly participates / attends Kelowna Summerfest at their own risk.

2. The participant(s) in any Kelowna Summerfest sporting events acknowledge that they are a currently registered and sanctioned participant within their sporting regional or national governing body.

3. The participant(s) / attendee(s) is (are) aware and acknowledges that the Kelowna Summerfest will not be held responsible for any risk and/or hazard that may arise before, during & after the event.

4. Kelowna Summerfest will not provide any compensation to the participant(s) / attendee(s) should a risk, hazard or injury of any kind arise.

5. The participant(s) / attendee(s) expects no compensation, bonus and or reward for attending the aforementioned event, other than participants acknowledged as Kelowna Summerfest winners of their sporting event or division by authorized representatives of Kelowna Summerfest.

6. There is no solicitation that Kelowna Summerfest requires for the said event. Therefore, the participant(s) / attendee(s) is responsible for their own budget and expenses during the activity.

 

INDEMNITY

By approving the Kelowna Summerfest “Terms & Conditions”, the participant(s) / attendee(s) agrees to indemnify, and hold harmless, Kelowna Summerfest, its respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, vendors, entertainers, employees, volunteers and permitted successors, and assigns against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, punitive damages, expenses, reasonable legal fees and costs of any kind or amount whatsoever, which result from the participation or attendance of the event.
